Tagger Designs founder Tag Gasparian, has painted for over 3 decades. At a young age, Gasparian was heavily influenced by his parent's involvement in various artistic mediums. His father participated in the Laguna Beach Art Festival as a professional oil painter, and is recognized around the world for his large-scale landscape pieces.
Tag traveled the world as a professional surfer in the 80's. Combining his love for art and surfing, he found it a natural fit to begin painting surfboards for his friends and fellow surfers. Through his new hobby, Tag discovered an interest in the surfing industry and he quickly became an artist for one of the top surfboard companies, Channel Islands surfboards.
In 2005 Gasparian found an opportunity to expand his talents to the motocross industry, and founded Tagger Designs. Tagger Designs has emerged in the racing world as one of the most innovative companies for helmet design. As the chief artist, Tag has designed replica helmet paint schemes for leading companies such as Shoei, Fox, Bell, AGV, SixSixOne, No Fear, Volcom, and Skull Candy. In addition, Tag has worked with a host of top-performing motocross talent including Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Ryan Villopoto, Nico Izzy, Justin Brayton, Broc Tickle, Matt Lemoine, freestyle legend Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg, World Superbike Champion Neil Hodgson, roadracers Aaron Gobert and P.J. Jacobsen, and NASCAR's Scott Speed and 2011 Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne. |
